Chinese New Year 2025 - The Hague
On Saturday 1st February 2025 The Hague celebrated the Chinese New Year, bringing in the year of the snake.
Each year, since 2002, the Chinese New Year has been celebrated in The Hague. In previous years the celebrations have started at The Hague City Hall on the Spui, this year, 2025, the celebrations opened on the Gedempte Burgwal, followed by processions through the streets of Chinatown, with lion and dragon dances and fireworks bringing in the Chinese New Year.
This year clear blue skies welcomed in the Chinese New Year celebrations to The Hague and brought the crowds to the streets of China town.
